Pat Domenico, a Major Junior Hockey (CHL) Scout for the Kingston Frontenacs. Pat was named in 2011 as their DIRECTOR OF PLAYER DEVELOPMENT!
Pat has been involved with the Frontenacs scouting since 2008, formerly with the Oshawa Generals.
Mr. Domenico is also a Junior A Hockey scout: He’s the Head Scout of the Nepean Raiders Jr. A team.
Pat covers the Ottawa and surrounding areas, looking at kids to suit either his Jr A team, or his Major Jr team. In his development role with Kingston’s OHL team, Pat’s responsibility will be to monitor and report to Doug Gilmour on the players in the Frontenac’s system.
Impressive to note is that Kingston produces top players such as Sam Bennett, drafted 4th overall in the 2014 NHL Draft.
Of course Pat has a real job! He’s a fireman in Ottawa.
I posted a discussion I had with Pat a couple of seasons ago about Major Junior Hockey Scouting. I will call him again to congratulate him now.
